Therapy for Depression
If you’ve been feeling down, irritable, hopeless, and exhausted for some time now, you know how difficult it is to live this way. You may find that you’ve lost interest in things you used to love, have trouble focusing or getting motivated. Some days you may struggle just to get out of bed.
Though we all feel sad or low sometimes, depression is an ongoing issue that makes everyday life more challenging. Depression can leave you feeling lost and alone. Defeated and disconnected.
You are not alone.
Depression is treatable, and many people experiencing depression find real relief with the right support. I take an integrative and holistic approach to help clients move through depression and find relief on the other side.
Depression can look like:
changes in sleep patterns (sleeping more/sleeping less)
low energy and fatigue
irritability
diminished self-esteem
ongoing depressed or sad mood
loss of interest in things you typically enjoy
changes in appetite (eating more/eating less)
ongoing feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness, and/or guilt
trouble concentrating
recurrent thoughts of suicide
